About Van Vliet & Trap
Van Vliet & Trap is an event design company that was founded in 1997 by Remco van Vliet and his brother Cas Trap. Born in Holland and raised in the flower industry, both are third generation floral designers, trained as Master Florists.
Remco studied Art History and Graphic Design in Holland, and continues to apply this knowledge in his designs. Cas has been working in the floral industry in the United States for over 15 years and has extensive retail and wholesale experience.
Remco and Cas worked for their father’s event design company based out of Holland, designing many events throughout Europe including the Dutch Royal Family.
Remco came to New York in 1994 to work with his brother at The Dutch Flower Line, New York's most reputable flower importing company.
